Dog Boarding Activities
Guests receive two private activity times. Our activity times are fun, one-on-one time with the guests. (Sometimes called "enrichment").
One activity is provided in the morning and one in the evening. Guests do not share their activity time with pets from other families.
The length of a guest's activity times varies with a maximum time of thirty minutes.
Some guests prefer to sniff and putter around the Nature Trail the entire thirty minutes. Some guests are ready to power-walk the trial multiple laps. Geriatric guests may just enjoy being petted and poking around on the playground until they are ready to go back to their nap. Some guests live for their ball time. The amount of time varies according to needs of each guest. For the very active guest, an extra activity time is available for an additional fee...but it is the rare guests that needs additional time. An extra activity time may also need to be applied if it is requested we walk a guest a certain number of miles. We are not as young or fast as we used to be...especially after several guests, lol
Nature Walks
Walks are given on our wooded, fenced Nature Trail. We have plenty of squirrels and trees to keep most guests entertained.
Playground Time
Playground time includes, running after a ball, tug, hide 'n seek, or whatever seems fun at the time.
TLC Time
TLC time is for guests that need love and attention, but may not want that much activity involved. It is recommended for geriatric or very small dogs that may not enjoy the outdoors. It includes snuggling, brushing (if desired) and belly rubs.
